Last night the Urban Airship team in London attended the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards ceremony. We were nominated an award for our work with POLITICO Europe and DigitasLBI on POLITICO’s EU Referendum Tracker.
This innovative mobile wallet marketing campaign leveraged a mobile wallet pass to a provide a way for people to stay up-to-date on the latest polls, key stories and voting results around Brexit. In the single week from launch to the vote, POLITICO surpassed its goal of gaining 10,000 passholders. (Get more details in our case study blog post here.)

Mobile Marketing Magazine created the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards to recognise innovative, original — and of course effective — mobile marketing campaigns and strategies. We were honored to be in company with the extremely high caliber of brands, agencies and technology providers that also attended.
In addition to our own win, we had a blast celebrating with several of our customers and partners who were also shortlisted and awarded in multiple categories last night.
