Get a demoAirship has identified ongoing fraudulent activities involving scammers impersonating our company. These scammers are creating fake job opportunities and misusing Airship’s trademark to defraud unsuspecting individuals. Recently, we’ve observed scammers using “ARSwork” and “ARSworks” branding, but these tactics frequently evolve and change. Airship has no affiliation with any entity misrepresenting our brand, including but not limited to those using ARSwork/ARSworks branding.
What Are These Scams?
We have identified multiple fraudulent schemes:
- Job Offer Scams: Criminals posing as Airship employees are offering fake remote job opportunities through email, social media, and messaging apps. Common fraudulent job offers include but are not limited to:
- Remote digital platform work
- Clinical trial organization roles
- Operational management positions
- Graphic designer positions
- Other remote work opportunities
- Social Media Impersonation: Fraudsters have created fake profiles across multiple platforms:
- LinkedIn profiles claiming to be Airship managers
- TikTok accounts using our brand name
- Instagram and Facebook accounts promoting fraudulent job opportunities
- Trademark Misuse: Scammers are using Airship’s trademark, corporate address, and brand elements on:
- Fake appointment letters and NDAs
- Fraudulent websites and social media profiles
- Unauthorized promotional materials
How to Identify These Scams
Specific Red Flags:
- Fraudulent Domains: Any website or email not from airship.com is unauthorized. Recent examples include:
- Domains including ARSwork/ARSworks
- Email addresses like arsargentinaworks@yahoo.com
- Any domain that appears similar to but is not exactly airship.com
- Verification Status:
- On LinkedIn, our official company page displays a blue “Verified” badge next to the Airship name. Any profile claiming to be Airship without this verification badge is unauthorized
- Always check for the LinkedIn verification badge when receiving communications from someone claiming to represent Airship.
- Impersonators: Be wary of individuals falsely claiming affiliation with Airship. Recent examples include:
- “Horacio Alfredo Rey” claiming to be an “Operational Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean” and “Remote Operational Manager for Airship”
- Any individual claiming to be an Airship recruiter or manager who contacts you through unofficial channels
- Suspicious Job Offers:
- Promises of daily payments
- Paid training regardless of whether you continue
- Requests for bank account details for “salary deposits”
- Interviews conducted via Discord or other messaging platforms
- Unusually high compensation for minimal qualifications
- Urgent hiring processes with minimal screening
