Airship AI Terms Amendment
Airship is expanding its AI capabilities to help customers create more effective experiences, improve efficiency, and make informed decisions while maintaining customer control, human oversight, data privacy, and security.
The Airship AI Terms Amendment provides existing customers with updated contractual terms governing Generative AI, Agentic AI, on-device AI processing, and third-party applications or models that interoperate with the Airship Service.
Airship’s responsible AI approach
Airship’s AI features are built around:
- Customer control and human oversight: Airship provides configuration and review capabilities that allow customers to manage how AI functionality is used.
- Responsible data use: Airship does not use Customer Data to train or fine-tune Generative AI models without the customer’s prior permission or instruction.
- Privacy and security: Airship applies privacy-by-design principles and security measures intended to protect Customer Data throughout collection, storage, and processing.
- Transparency and risk management: Airship clearly explains and communicates when, where, and how AI is used in the Airship platform. We perform ongoing monitoring of our model provider’s , content safety controls, model safeguards, and security controls to support responsible use of AI.

Who should sign the Amendment?
The Amendment is intended for existing Airship customers that:
- Want to use Airship AI functionality, including on-device AI functionality; and
- Have an existing agreement that does not contain Airship’s current AI and third-party application terms.
If you are unsure whether the Amendment applies to your account, contact your Airship Customer Experience Representative.
Customers on the current version of the Airship Terms of Subscription Service available here do not need to sign this AI Amendment because the existing Airship Terms of Subscription Service already incorporate these terms.
How to sign
- Review and electronically sign the Airship AI Terms Amendment through DocuSign
- Enter the legal name of the customer entity that is party to your existing Airship agreement.
- Complete the requested signer information and have an authorized representative electronically sign the Amendment.
- DocuSign will email a completed copy to the address provided during the signing process.
Your existing agreement will otherwise remain unchanged except as expressly stated in the Amendment.
