Urban Airship Powered Campaigns With BBC, France TV Win Mobile Marketing Awards

At the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards 2018 in London, two of Urban Airship’s campaigns took home awards, including “Most Effective Messaging Campaign.”

The winning award for “Most Effective Messaging Campaign” was Urban Airship and the BBC News’ coverage of the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle. Urban Airship powered BBC News’ app notifications with a strategic push notification plan for this highly publicized event. The campaign saw a direct open rate of 13% across the campaign, with their highest performing notification achieving a 30% direct open rate.

For the same category, Urban Airship won “Highly Commended” for its campaign with France Televisions for the Franceinfo App during the 2017 Elections.
