Urban Airship Expands Senior Leadership Team With VP Appointments for Sales and Product Marketing
Urban Airship bolsters management team with proven executives from enterprise software leaders
PORTLAND, Ore., — Oct. 25, 2018 — Customer engagement company Urban Airship, today announced two senior leadership appointments including Jessica Mattson as vice president of sales, Americas, and Simone Kriz as vice president of product marketing. Mattson will lead the rapid expansion of Urban Airship’s sales team and drive exceptional end-to-end customer experiences with high business value. She will report to Eric Holmen, SVP of worldwide sales. Kriz will expand Urban Airship’s product marketing team and lead market positioning, product messaging, sales enablement, competitive selling, customer references and go-to-market strategy. She will report to SVP of marketing Mike Stone.
Mattson brings more than twenty years of experience building, leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams across both SaaS and enterprise services. Previously, Mattson was vice president of high tech for SAP where her team helped companies reimagine their businesses and support their digital transformations. Earlier at SAP, Mattson was vice president of services sales delivering high value, high return customer engagements.
Kriz brings more than 18 years experience of technology product marketing leadership, most recently serving as senior director of product marketing at Salesforce where she built a world-class team that consistently exceeded business goals over four years. Earlier in her career, Kriz was Google’s first product marketing hire in Europe, and after establishing a team in Germany was transferred to the U.S. to build the global AdWords business. After more than six years at Google, Kriz led the marketing teams at Yammer through to its acquisition by Microsoft.
