External Data Feeds for Scene Templates

Personalize Scene template content with an external API, whether the template is used directly in a Scene, opened from a push notification, or used in a Message Center Scene.

External data feeds pull live data from an external API into your message content. With today’s release, you can use the feeds in Scene templates. You’ll see these changes in the dashboard:

Code helper for templates — When editing Scene templates, the data feeds icon () appears in the left sidebar. Use it to access preformatted feed blocks and object locations.
Feed options in a message’s Delivery step — When using a template for a Message Center Scene or a push that opens a Scene, configure failure behavior and default variable values for each feed alongside other delivery options, just like feeds used in other message types.
