Oct 20, 2026Expanded Capabilities for Goals
Build Goals around the activities that matter most to your business, combine multiple metrics in a single Goal, and track performance at the Campaign level.
The redesigned Goals system expands what you can measure and where you can see the results:
- More activity types — Alongside custom and default events, count channel opt-ins, named user associations, subscription list changes, tag changes, and Scene NPS scores.
- Property filtering — Narrow a Goal to a specific property value on a custom or default event, such as counting only email opens with the subject line “Holiday Sale.”
- Multiple metrics — Combine up to five metrics in a single Goal. Meeting any one of them counts as a conversion, so a Goal tracking both subscription opt-ins and tag changes captures either activity.
- Goals in Campaigns — Add Goals to a Campaign to see each one’s performance against just that Campaign’s messages, rather than your entire project.
- Goals in Holdout Experiments and A/B tests — Goals you build within a Holdout Experiment or feature flag A/B test are saved at the project level, so you can reuse them anywhere else you use Goals, instead of being scoped to just that one experiment or test.
Goal attribution continues to appear in message and Scene reports, showing which messages and Scenes drove your conversions.
