Airship.com is a global forum to promote and discuss the study and development of modern airships. Our goal is to provide not only educational articles and background on the history of airships, the different types of airships but lead the discussion about the benefits new airships will have in the modern world.
Airships ruled the skies nearly 100 years ago, setting astonishing records for flight distance, cargo load carried and luxurious travel. It is our belief that a properly constructed airship, using modern space-age materials and flight systems will result in a game-changing shift in the way governments operate, global humanitarian missions are completed and how goods are transported.
As of this post, oil prices are approaching $100 per barrel and continuing to rise. It is time to institute a change and airships can be an integral part of the paradigm shift.
